      1

What percentage TFM (Total Fatty Matter) do your soap noodles carry — 78%, 80%, or 85%?

Bio Green Wax supplies soap noodles in the three most commercially demanded TFM grades: 78% TFM (economy grade for laundry and low-cost toilet bars), 80% TFM (standard grade for mainstream toilet soap bars), and 85% TFM (premium grade for high-quality personal care and hospitality soap brands). TFM directly determines bar quality — higher TFM produces harder, longer-lasting bars with superior lather.
Our CoA confirms TFM, moisture, free caustic, and NaCl content for every lot. Please share your intended bar specification and application so our technical team can recommend the optimal TFM grade for your production line.
      2

What vegetable oil base are your soap noodles made from — palm, coconut, or blend?

Bio Green Wax offers soap noodles made from palm-based (RBD palm oil, palm stearin), coconut-based (palm kernel oil, coconut oil), and blended vegetable oil bases. Palm-based noodles are the most widely used globally, delivering hard bars with good lather. Coconut/PKO-based noodles provide superior lather but softer bars and are typically blended with palm.
Standard 80% TFM noodles are generally produced from a palm/palm kernel blend at approximately 80:20 ratio. , sunflower, rapeseed) can be sourced on request for buyers targeting specific oil-free claims. Please share your preference when enquiring.
      3

What is the minimum order quantity for bulk soap noodles?

Our minimum order quantity for soap noodles is 1 FCL (full container load), typically 20–24 metric tonnes in 25 kg or 50 kg bags on pallets. For buyers in trial or production testing phases, we can supply part-container loads from 5 MT subject to availability and logistics feasibility. Large-scale soap manufacturers consuming multiple containers per month are offered long-term supply agreements with priority allocation, fixed pricing windows, and customised delivery scheduling. Please contact our B2B team with your annual consumption volume to receive an appropriate supply proposal.
      4

Do you supply Halal certified soap noodles for personal care manufacturers?

Yes. All soap noodles supplied by Bio Green Wax are available with Halal certification from a recognised Islamic authority, confirming vegetable oil origin, Shariah-compliant processing, and the absence of any animal-derived materials. Halal-certified soap noodles are a mandatory sourcing requirement for manufacturers supplying personal care products to Muslim-majority markets across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and South Asia.
Our Halal certificate is issued per production lot and accompanies all shipping documents. For buyers requiring both Halal and RSPO certification, please specify this when requesting a quotation.
      5

What is the moisture content and free caustic level in your soap noodles?

Our standard 80% TFM palm-based soap noodles have a moisture content of 12–17% (consistent with TFM grade — lower TFM grades carry proportionally higher moisture) and a free caustic (NaOH) content below 0.1%, with a target near neutral pH. Free caustic levels above 0.1% can cause skin irritation in finished bars. The NaCl (salt) content is typically 0.3–0.7% in our standard grades. All these parameters are confirmed by accredited laboratory analysis in the CoA accompanying each shipment. Buyers with tight incoming moisture or caustic specifications should share these at the time of enquiry.
      6

What is the current FOB/CIF price for soap noodles per metric tonne?

Soap noodle prices are directly linked to the cost of palm oil and caustic soda and fluctuate with commodity markets. Bio Green Wax provides competitive FOB and CIF pricing from origin (Malaysia, Indonesia, India) to all global destination ports. Pricing depends on TFM grade, annual volume, and delivery schedule.
To receive a current market quotation, contact our B2B procurement team with your TFM grade, destination port, and estimated monthly volume. We offer spot pricing for immediate requirements and forward pricing for buyers who prefer price certainty over 3–12 months. Long-term contract pricing is significantly more competitive than spot.
      7

Are your soap noodles suitable for hotel toilet bar and laundry bar soap production?

Yes. Bio Green Wax soap noodles are widely used for both hotel amenity soap production and industrial laundry bar manufacturing. For hotel toilet bars (typically 20–30g), we recommend our 80% TFM palm/PKO blend noodles, which deliver excellent lather, white colour, and a smooth bar surface. For laundry bars (which are typically harder and contain higher filler levels), our 78% TFM economy-grade noodles are cost-effective.
We can also customise noodle oil blends to specific bar performance targets (lather volume, bar hardness, mildness). Contact our technical team with your bar specification and annual volume for a tailored supply proposal.
      8

What is the colour (AOCS or Gardner) specification of your white soap noodles?

5 Red / 15 Yellow (or equivalent AOCS Cc 13e-92 specification). White noodles yield finished soap bars with a clean, bright white appearance preferred in premium toilet bars and hospitality brands. Yellow or off-white noodles (produced from less refined oils or blended bases) are available at lower cost for economy soap grades. All colour parameters are confirmed in the CoA.
, for custom-coloured or white-label bars), please share your colour specification at the time of enquiry.
      9

What packaging formats are available for soap noodles — bags, supersacks, or loose bulk?

Soap noodles from Bio Green Wax are packaged in: 25 kg polypropylene woven bags (standard), 50 kg polypropylene bags (for buyers with high-capacity production lines), and 1,000 kg supersacks (bulk bags/jumbo bags) for large automated soap production facilities. Bags are palletised and stretch-wrapped for safe container loading. We do not supply loose bulk soap noodles.
All packaging is clearly labelled with product grade, TFM content, production date, batch number, and net weight. Custom private-label bag printing is available for buyers requiring branded sacks. Please specify your preferred packaging format when enquiring.
      10

Do you supply transparent soap noodles or glycerine soap noodles?

Yes, Bio Green Wax can supply glycerine soap noodles for transparent (glycerine) soap production on request. Transparent soap noodles have a higher glycerine content and are produced using an alcohol-based saponification process, delivering the distinctive clear appearance of glycerine soap bars. They are available in 75–80% TFM grades with Halal certification.
Transparent noodles are used by premium soap manufacturers producing luxury clear bars, novelty soaps, and artisanal personal care products. Due to their speciality nature, lead times and pricing differ from standard opaque noodles. Contact our team for a transparent soap noodle quotation and specification sheet.
      11

Can you supply soap noodles meeting EN ISO or AOCS quality standards?

Yes. Bio Green Wax soap noodles are tested against AOCS (American Oil Chemists' Society) standard test methods for TFM, moisture, free caustic, NaCl, and colour. For European buyers, we can supply with test reports referencing EN ISO 685 (TFM determination) and related norms. Our supplier network includes certified manufacturing plants that operate under HACCP, ISO 9001, and GMP quality management systems.
Third-party inspection by SGS or Intertek can be arranged at loading port on buyer request. Please share your incoming quality standard when enquiring so we can confirm pre-supply conformance.
      12

Is your soap noodles supply RSPO certified for sustainable palm sourcing?

Yes. Bio Green Wax supplies RSPO-certified soap noodles under Mass Balance (MB) supply chain certification, with RSPO credits (eRTRs) transferable to the buyer. Segregated (SG) certified soap noodles are available from select certified manufacturing plants subject to availability and premium pricing. RSPO certification is increasingly required by European, North American, and premium Asian brands sourcing palm-based personal care ingredients.
We provide RSPO certificate of transaction documentation with certified lot shipments. For buyers with mandatory RSPO supply chain policies, please discuss your certification model requirements with our sustainability team.
      13

What is the iodine value and saponification value of your soap noodles?

The iodine value (IV) of our palm-based soap noodles (as the fatty acid base stock) is typically 45–55 g I2/100g, reflecting their predominant palmitic and oleic acid composition. The saponification value (SV) of the fatty acid fraction is 195–210 mg KOH/g. These values vary depending on the oil blend used (palm-heavy blends have lower IV than coconut-heavy blends).
While IV and SV are more commonly quoted for the oil feedstock rather than the finished noodle, we can provide this data where required. Please contact our technical team for the specific analytical data for your required noodle grade.
      14

Do you supply medicated or antibacterial soap noodle formulations?

Yes. Bio Green Wax can supply or facilitate the supply of soap noodles pre-incorporated with antibacterial actives such as Triclosan, Triclocarban (TCC), or zinc pyrithione for medicated and antimicrobial soap bar production. These formulations are popular in hospital, healthcare, and sanitation-focused soap products in markets including Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East.
Custom formulations with specific active concentrations can be developed in partnership with our soap formulation partners. Regulatory documentation for the antibacterial actives (MSDS, SDS, regulatory status by market) is provided. Contact our technical sales team for a formulation consultation.
      15

What is the shelf life of soap noodles in standard storage conditions?

Soap noodles have a recommended shelf life of 12–18 months from the production date under proper storage conditions. They should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse at ambient temperature (15–30°C), away from direct sunlight, heat, moisture, and strong odours. Exposure to excess heat can cause noodles to soften and stick together, while moisture absorption increases the effective water content and reduces TFM performance.
Bags should be stored off the ground on pallets and protected from condensation. Our SDS and packaging labels provide full storage guidance. First-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation is recommended.
      16

Can you supply soap noodles with custom fragrance or colour for white label production?

Yes. Bio Green Wax can work with your white label soap brand requirements to supply pre-fragranced or pre-coloured soap noodles, or to facilitate the supply of plain noodles alongside compatible fragrance and colour additive recommendations for your in-house processing. 5–2% by weight) and colour pigment addition can be arranged with our formulation partners for minimum order quantities of 5–10 MT.
We also support private-label buyers with custom packaging (branded bags) and labelling. For a full white-label soap supply discussion, please contact our brand services team.
      17

What are the lead times for soap noodle delivery to African and Asian soap manufacturers?

Lead times for soap noodles from our supply origins (Malaysia, Indonesia, India) are: 3–5 weeks to West African ports (Lagos, Tema, Abidjan), 3–4 weeks to East African ports (Mombasa, Dar es Salaam), 2–3 weeks to South/Southeast Asian ports (Chennai, Colombo, Bangkok), and 3–4 weeks to Middle Eastern ports. Production and packing require 1–2 weeks for non-stocked grades.
Long-term contract buyers with regular shipment schedules benefit from pre-packed inventory and shorter effective lead times. Contact our Africa/Asia regional sales team for a precise delivery schedule and competitive freight quotation.
      18

Do you provide Certificate of Analysis and packing lists with each soap noodle shipment?

Yes. Every soap noodle shipment from Bio Green Wax is accompanied by: a Certificate of Analysis (covering TFM, moisture, NaCl, free caustic, and colour), Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Halal Certificate, MSDS/SDS, and Invoice. RSPO certificate of transaction is provided for certified lots. SGS or Intertek pre-shipment inspection certificates can be arranged at buyer's request and cost.
All documents are provided in English and can be apostilled or notarised for import countries requiring these formalities. Our documentation team ensures all paperwork is correct and complete before vessel departure.
      19

Can soap noodles be supplied as a blend of palm and palm kernel derived bases?

Yes. The most common commercial soap noodle formulations are blends of palm oil-derived soap (providing hardness and longevity) and palm kernel oil or coconut oil-derived soap (providing superior lather and cleansing). Bio Green Wax offers customised oil blend ratios — from 100% palm-based to 70:30 palm/PKO blends — to achieve your target bar hardness, lather characteristics, and skin feel.
Custom blends are available from 20 MT MOQ and are produced against agreed specifications with full CoA documentation. Please share your bar performance specification and our technical team will recommend the optimal blend ratio.
      20

What documentation is required for soap noodle import into Nigeria, India, or the GCC?

Import documentation requirements vary by destination: Nigeria requires a Form M (pre-shipment financing), NAFDAC-related product notification for personal care use, SON certification for some grades, Certificate of Origin, CoA, Halal certificate, and SGS or pre-shipment inspection report. India requires a Bill of Entry, CoA, CoO, and IEC (Import Export Code) compliance.
GCC countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait) typically require a Halal certificate from a GCC-approved Halal body, CoA, CoO, and product registration in some markets. Bio Green Wax has experience exporting to all these markets and our documentation team handles all pre-shipment paperwork requirements.
